When the workspace is useful
Use it when you have selected supplier contacts and need one clear RFQ, private invitations and a consistent view of the replies.
Keep your existing sourcing channels
Keep supplier relationships, directory research and exhibition contacts. Moving quote records into a workspace does not require abandoning those channels.
Discovery and quote comparison serve different needs
Discovery helps you identify possible trading partners. An RFQ workspace records what you ask selected suppliers to quote and compares what they actually submit.
Prepare your request
Record specifications, quantity, packaging, destination, required date and document requests. Review the saved RFQ before inviting a supplier.
When you still need supplier research
If you do not yet have supplier contacts, conduct that research separately. MapleBridge does not return a factory shortlist or provide verified suppliers.
Understand what is included
The workflow covers RFQs, private supplier invitations and submitted-quote comparison. It does not provide brokerage, factory audits, shipping, customs clearance or an order guarantee.
Do suppliers need an account?
Invited suppliers can respond through their private quotation link. Treat the link as confidential. A quote is visible to the buyer after explicit submission, not merely after filling in a form.
Create the RFQ when your contacts are ready
Prepare your requirements and share invitations with intended recipients. Generating a link does not confirm email delivery, and saving an RFQ does not place an order.
